Toasty

We have radiant heat in our new apartment, with different thermostat dials in every room. Last night I figured I would test it out a little bit in our bedroom. It's freezing in there at night because we only use that room to sleep, so I guessed it would be good to warm it up a bit before I went to bed.

I figured out our thermostats. Apparently, turning the dial 1/8th of an inch will heat up the room by ten degrees. According to my calculations, that means our rooms can be heated to somewhere between 150 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit.

I wonder what the upstairs neighbors will think.

  1. That IS too toasty! How efficient of you to discover by the trial and error method! Maybe it will over-incubate the spider nests...

  3. Ah ha ha ha ha. I say line your room with cedar, add some lava rocks and a small bucket of water.

And I basically read your posts for the labels (jk, but the labels are really, really entertaining ;)
