Yeah. That's green pepper jelly. Now, I'll be the first to admit that green peppers are amazing. Especially in salads and on sub sandwiches. But...jelly? What would you do with that? A peanut butter green pepper sandwich sounds a little less than appetizing. Actually, a lot less than appetizing.
See this? No, honestly. Do you see this? This is kind of like green pepper jelly. But it's cayenne pepper. That's moving away from the realm of "food" and moving to the realm of "spices" which I also put under the category of "do not eat unless it is actually on food, because this is a garnish and not a meal. Seriously, it's not real food, it just adds flavor." It's a pretty specific category I guess. Anyway. It adds two amazing qualities: making a jelly out of something that you can't even survive for a day on and a little something I call spicy. Even if we took out the whole cayenne pepper deal, if someone asked me if I wanted my jam to have a kick I would say no.Honestly.
And this? This is also a garnish, but I give it more leeway as I love minty things. One of the minty things that I would have a hard time accepting, however, is jelly. Especially because the brand at Target has leaves in it. Yes. Kind of like when you have the raspberry seeds in your jam, but it's foliage.Just how momma used to make it.
By the way, one of my new jobs at target is to put on spider wraps:

And a little hint: these things are a lot harder to work than they look at first.
spider wraps seems somehow fitting for your current house situation!
