Sometimes

Sometimes I want to shout, "I DONT GET ALONG WITH YOU!"

...without the reprecussions of it.

Blur

You know that joke, when you pass a small town and say "Here is *insert name*, there goes *insert name*" and you joke about if you blinked that you missed it? I've decided that is exactly how life goes. Sure, we get stuck in those moments where life could not take any more of its sweet time gettin' on (week before marriage, day before birth of first child(i assume), etc). But for the most part, life is so stinkin' fast that we just cant keep up with it.

Bard--heart goes out to you in your whirlwind of life right now!

Today we got new license plates. woot. I got a job last Wednesday...about an hour after I walked out of my spur of the spirit temple trip. God knows. We're excited for it. It doesn't pay what I was getting paid, not the best hours, but I am loved there. Sounds weird, I know. But the girl that referenced me came up to me on Sunday after I got the job and said that the woman that interviewed me went up to my friend's husband and told him how amazing I am; what a great interviewer I am, how does he know me?, I was such a great person and that she was putting me in a different position than I was interviewed for.

DISCLAIMER! We really dont know if that last part is true... we do know that they changed my training date, so I might have gotten a different job (maybe different pay?). So, we're excited to see what happens when I go in on Monday for training. I do still have two more people who say we're going to interview in the next few weeks. So we'll see. We really dont know what we're going to do. Each job has a benefit and a negative aspect. Life blurring yet again.

Welcome Kristen and Dave Young's sweet new angel, Kylie Marie Young!

Much love and a slow down button sent your way :)

Nothing

I do not like St. Patrick's Day. At all.

Becky loves it.

I think it's pointless. Everyone wears green...why? Because some Irish guy kicked some snakes out of his country? Why is this reason for us to celebrate by pinching people who aren't wearing an arbitrary color? Yes I realize it's green because of Ireland, but that's an arbitrary color too. I'm from Seattle. Green's everywhere. You have to drive for hours to not see any trees. Anyway. I think it's a completely useless and pointless day.

Though I do love me some corned beef. I could do without cabbage.

Neither of us wore green yesterday. I win.

Hodgepodge

First off, this is a video of the car that was set on fire. For those of you I haven't told, it was started. We were the second hit that night and haven't been the last. They (or he/she) are going around and opening easy to open gas tanks, stuffing them with toilet/tissue paper and lighting them on fire. Ours was such a big deal because of all the furniture next to the car that went up in flames. There is no furniture left.

Well, besides that. We have had an interesting time. I have had one interview since I lost my job and the promise of more interviews. It will be difficult to figure out what to do. To take the first job despite low pay? Or to hang on for one month with the last of our savings and push for a better job.

We failed the car safety test. Turns out our back two breaks and chambers were broken. Along with the light damaged by the fire. So we spent $200 fixing it. We got our Utah drivers license in 3 hours, which we think is record time for being in and out so quickly. It was a blast from the past taking the written(on computer) test again. I got 100% :) Haven't lost that school touch.

Jameson just finished the 3rd straight week of midterms. BLAH! I dont know who thought up this evil thing of prolonging midterms. But, like Jameson tells me often, and I will eventually make a shirt with it,

Life is Good!

letters

Dear Daylight Savings Time:

Nobody ever talks about you now. You have also moved. You used to be so reliable: every general conference I would know that it was time to move my clock (though I would be confused as to whether it was forward or back). Now, I don't know why you decided those were bad days, but you sneak up on me now and I don't like it. Move back to your original days so I don't wind up waking up at 9 instead of 8 again.

Dear Tommy

There is another letter in the works, don't worry. I know I suck.

Dear Mario Kart Wii

You are incredible.

Dear Nyquil

You make my wife incredibly cute in the morning. Thank you.

Dear breakfast

I am on my way.

Love, Jameson

It's a hardknock life

Well, for those of you who haven't heard, which I cant imagine is many of you, I was laid off today.

It wasn't easy. I mean, sitting there I thought I took it well. She was very nice--and said she was upset cause she felt they didnt give me a proper chance, not really training me and what not. But I did tear up a little bit when I disagreed with her about being re-leaved and mentioned supporting Jameson. But she did say she would write me a letter of recommendation if I need one.

I've got a couple options right now. None of them are really--well, corporate jobs. But they are jobs. Jameson might look into getting a job too. But we really dont want him to lose focus on school.

We are feeling really positive about this whole thing--it is good. I already feel a huge load off of my shoulders to be honest. Jameson told me to quit before cause I was so unhappy, but we needed the money, so I stayed. Things are looking up for us. And as ironic as it is, I feel more positive about money and the future right now. Jameson and I know the Spirit is helping both of us being this positive and we have faith it'll work out.

We pray you are all successful in your endeavors, and if not, that you'll be lucky enough to see the blessing in it.
