Sweet

Well I was reading my gender textbook yesterday. Talking about pregnancy, menstruation, all that fun stuff (did you know that scientifically PMS only occurs in like 1% of the population? And that women's and men's moods alike are more influenced by what day of the week it is than any sort of monthly cycle? Crazy huh) and it turns out that in Norway women get a great maternity leave. 10 months full pay or 12 months 80% pay. Wow!

I told this to Becky.

She says we're moving to Norway.

I'll let you know how it works out.

Not so average Saturday

To start off, we didn't sleep in. Jameson was up bright and bushy-tailed at 6:30, and me, being the wife I am, woke up about 10 minutes later because I could feel he wasn't there. Instead of going back to sleep, which was the plan, we ended up awake. So I decided to pull out the P90x for the first time and give it a try.

Because we dont have any equipment yet, I did one I knew didn't require it. Plyometrics. Sounds harmless? I thought so. About twenty minutes in Jameson hops in (literally) and fifteen minutes later hops out (literally because he stepped on a prick/sticker (whatever you call it) and had to bow out. I on the other hand, finished it. At the end I felt a little down. 'I could have tried harder, gone lower. I dont think I did it right.'

Thirty minutes later we were leaving to go to the temple and I couldn't walk down the stairs. Sore already? That is odd. It progressed throughout the day. To the point where I cant sit down without using my arms, I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and my calves gave out. Do I love this feeling? Can I get an amen!?

The temple was great too. We did proxy sealings for the first time. We had no idea it was so taxing/exhausting. But we really liked it. We had a great sealer. He even did one in spanish :)

The rest of the day was average, I have to admit. Nap. Zelda Twilight Princess. Mario. Dota (Jameson with Tiny while I read Ken's book). I made chicken enchalada casserole for Jameson for the first time. They both loved it! *phew*

Life is good! Jameson still tells me he loves me at the beginning and end of the day, so I must be doing something right! May you all be equally blessed in sore bums, tight calves and painful squatting :)

Reporting

This post is designated on reporting on our New Years Resolutions. I have one thing to say: 2010 is looking to be a fantastic year. We're doing fantastic. There are some things we could work on: we only have a sit down lesson or activity for FHE about twice a month. But we're going to the gym 2-3 times a week; I just increased my weight this week and it feels great. We've made our Sunday mornings more spiritual by cutting out the disney movies we would watch before church and we now write in our journals and read conference talks or whatever. I'm keeping up on my school goals. I made a goal to do my homework the day that it was assigned instead of other times and it is a fantastic idea. I do no homework on the weekends and the lowest score I've gotten on a midterm is 88. The next lowest was a 93. Becky has been doing great with her journal writing and giving more people the benefit of the doubt. We're just having a great life. We bought a new entertainment center and a nice flatscreen TV. I couldn't imagine a better life.

In other news we're going out tonight. We decided that the restaurants are going to be jam packed in Provo tomorrow night; so we're going to eat out tonight. Tomorrow we're getting a pizza and Sunday I'm making Becky a nice candlelight dinner. Tiny is coming over tomorrow. He comes over about once a week to hang out with us; it's way fun.

More midterms are here; I have three more next week. I can't believe it's already round two. This week I've had to write ten pages of papers. Fun! Haha but I'm great. There's nothing more I would ask for. Sorry for the mushy post but this is paradise.

Update

I survived my week in Murray for training! Woohoo. Honestly? I kinda wish I could stay there. I made some quick friends, and they told me they were sad I was living. Not to mention, it is almost a completely different company. They run so much smoother than our branch. I'm excited for Lindon to get like them. Yeah, I've realized my grammar, well, sentence structure seems rather shotty. Sorry.

What did I do on my day off? Well, let me tell you. I went to the temple and had a great time. It was very peaceful, and after a long week, I needed peace. I also got to spend the day in the apartment with some loud music I could dance to so I could 1. rearrange furniture and 2. clean! I realize some of you may think I'm weird, but this is my shout out to all those working mothers that when they get a day to themselves, they love nothing more than no one else in the house, and awesome cleaning supplies! Booyah! I love moving furniture.

Jameson has been getting some wicked awesome high scores on his tests! Yesterday he got a 97% on his New Testament midterm! I have gotten approval from my new branch manager. BIG sigh of relief for both of us. We're just loving life. We've been experimenting more with food as long as falling back on our classics. Tiny has been coming over again which is always fun. We've been sticking to our working out goal for the new years. We're not super back in shape yet, but you know, I ran 4 miles the other day and Jameson has been doing some awesome weights with Brenton.

Yeah... we're awesome. We love you!
