Chloe's pre-hike nap with her new favorite toy
After two years of marriage and all the time Jameson lived here single, we finally hiked the Y!
Jameson finally made me the promise that when he got his hair cut we'd hike it. If he got his hair cut at the beginning of the week we would hike it at the end and if he got his hair cut at the end of the week we'd hike it at the beginning.
So, we did! The first time we left it was around 12. We were just about there when we realized we forgot our water. We went back for it. It took us a good long time to get to the top. Jameson's friend had hiked it a few days before and said she had to stop at the first three switchbacks. For those of you know that know my competitive nature, I didnt stop the first three. What can I say, I feel like I have something to prove now that I've had a baby.
We passed a Grandmother and Granddaughter. Out of their whole group, 2 were ahead and the rest turned back. As we stood at the top of the Y we were happy to see that they made it! We heard her tell her granddaughter that if she dies tomorrow, she can at least say that she hiked the Y!
It was a wonderful outing :) Chloe was pleasant the whole time. She even fell asleep for the last stretch up. Jameson and I panted our way through some of the parts but this (and the Zoo trip last week) have instilled in us the desire to go out and do something outside more often.
What can I say? We still love doing things together all the time :) Isn't that a relief? Knowing you enjoy doing things with your best friend every-single-day for ever and ever!?

Jameson conquered the hill!

We all conquered the hill!

Stopping halfway up to enjoy the view
