Perfect Day

Yesterday was a perfect day. No way around, over or under it. Perfect.

We both slept in a little bit. I made myself a homemade egg mcmuffin for my birthday breakfast and we headed out the door to see Despicable Me and Andrew and Lissa. We laughed so hard. Every time I looked over at Jameson he was leaning into the seat next to him. It was there I determined that a good movie is one that makes you laugh joyfully, cry tenderly and walk away feeling elated (most of my favs follow this criteria).

On our way home we hit taco bell. We walked in the door and we both bolted for the bathroom. While Jameson took his turn I decided to secretly gather a blanket and turn our meal into a picnic. Cheerfully, Jameson complied. It was perfect picnicing weather. A few clouds, under the shade of two huge trees... bliss.

Then, after an afternoon nap for Jameson and an hour long chat with Jessica, one of my bestest best friends, we started to think about making Blimpies (my birthday dinner choice). I put in Live Free or Dive Hard to cook to. We watched the beginning of it (probably why they burned!).

We got ourselves up and went to the hogie/bbq my visiting teacher invited us to. We got there just as they finished eating. Perfect timing! And we played Kickball! It was so much fun! Jameson's sandal broke the first kick... so he played the whole game barefoot. We won the "toughness" award because we were (he was) in flip flops. I won the winning point :) Happy Birthday to me. Then they told us about movie in the park Mondays! So we ran over to another park and watched the beginning on Penelope. Cute flick.

See? Perfect day. It is hard to believe they are still out there sometimes, but there you have it. I just had one, so it must exist. I hope you have one soon too!
