My mandatory list of 09

Well, as you hopefully all know, it is now 2010. And this last year has been the best year of my life because of my beautiful, amazing wife. Thank you Becky! Well as many have done their top whatevers of the decade, I figure I'll take a stab at it. Though it would be much more romantic to say like top ten moments with Becky or whatever, I honestly don't think I could be able to come up with that list. It would be much too hard. So I'll be the incredible nerd that I am and give my lists of music and video games of the past decade. Here we go!

Remember, Becky is the best thing that happened to me.

TOP THREE VIDEO GAMES OF THE DECADE
1. Halo 2
The first game, though great, wasn't a big attraction for me. The third is probably my favorite to play. But Halo 2 sucked away my high school life. I probably logged hours up in the triple digits playing this game throughout the however many years I played. It was what we did after school for a couple years. Good good times.

2. Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
One of the most comprehensive RPGs I've seen. I did everything I possibly could in that game from raiding tombs to killing vampires to fighting bears bare-handed. I killed an orc lady for her house to stash my extra stuff and stole just about everything in the game. The next game, Oblivion, did almost everything a tiny bit better, but I wasn't captured like in this. I actually got lost in the game and abandoned the main quest because I couldn't remember what I was supposed to do. I spent too much time doing anything else haha. Highly recommended.

3. Super Smash Bros. Melee
Ever wondered who would win in a fight between Princess Zelda and Donkey Kong? The answer is Zelda when Alex plays. Every time. Everything about this game is incredible. Balanced, fast, fun. What more do you need? Play it today.

Well. I'm a nerd. That's very evident right now. But remember! Becky is the best thing in my life. My best friend, my confident, everything. I love you Becky!

By the way, the top two things I've learned today:
1. If you try to put on converse without untying them they will split down the side.
2. No matter how long you try to vacuum with a broken vacuum it won't work. When you realize the problem and fix the vacuum she will work like a charm.
