Updated from the perspective of the wife

We are remaining positive and optimistic about the future especially after Jameson's recent invite to interview in Georgia! Birthday bash for Mom is going to be there so it will be an awesome week and a half of Mama and Boo! Oh man... so needed. So needed. It's been a year since I saw my big sister and I miss her.

Chloe is, as you've seen on facebook, is enjoying terrorizing the house. She found her voice a few weeks ago and I think it's finally settled into something steady. She still yells if not enough attention is on her but she is starting to "read" books which I adore. Today she learned she can get up on the couch with no extra support. Woot.

I've been making more of an effort to keep our house nice. Kitchen counter cleared off, dishes somewhat under control... I even finished hanging up all the pictures that could be hung up. Making it seem as much like home as I can. My way of increasing the odds we have to be called to move ;)

I made it through the first big urge/appointment to get my annual year and a half hair chop. Shout to to my favorite Gay hairstylist Nick in Sugarhouse. Need a fabulous out of this world haircut and conversation? I've got his number. I think it was a pleasant surprise for Jameson. He says he could care less what length hair I have. But I saved him the bleeding ear reaction to hearing me complain about not having long hair any more for a year and half before chopping it again.

Still happy kickin it in my new fat jeans which used to be my skinny jeans before I got married. And rockin' my skinny jeans that I had never fit in before. Boo-to the YAH! Swimmin' a lot still too... I am almost finished with Jameson's Hufflepuff scarf! Took me long enough. It would've been done in December, but I was using double point so it wasn't my fault. I have my next project all picked out and I'm excited to start it. Gotta get in as much new things as I can before we leave and I dont have my knitting mentor any more. I've read 9...10 books so far this year, gotten sucked into a Vampire sitcom. In my defense, I've never been addicted to one before.

Jameson is busy busy at work. Working extra swing shifts to help out with the money situation. After the oh so expensive trip to Oregon and the wallet breaking trip to LA to come, we'll take as many shifts as we can get. He is busy researching about programs, playing his new games (Skyrim and Mass Effect 3), giving Chloe dinosaur rides around the apartment and reading the Game of Thrones series. He has a goal to read a book a month and he has chosen the fattest individual book series on the market :)

But you know, life is great! We cant complain.
