I was having a rather pleasant day. Then I got this:
"Did you start your twitch before 18?"
"Twitch." I've called this time and time again a "spasm". May we all agree that "spasm" sounds less disturbing and distressing.
It was followed up with "You could have chronic motor tic disorder. It's like tourettes without the vocal part. :)"
My husband thinks I have tourettes.

ReplyDeleteHey! There was no preface to this! Becky's been saying that people (specifically her roommates) have been saying that she has tourettes for years because of that spasm. I was looking through the DSM and found what may be an explanation. Honestly you make it sound like I just abuse you!

ReplyDeleteMy first draft mentioned roommates. Yes, I had a roommate that said she thought I had it before. Prefaced. I always just assumed it was a full body spasm, nothing to it. But what bodily function doesn't have a clinical name?--Becky p.s. the previous comment was me too but it didn't say it was me.
