Purely pleasure

Now that we have all of the business and crazy out of the way on the blog, we can write about some of the actual FUN things we did recently. Life isn't all hard times...after all, all work and no play make Jack not have to sleep in the street or something like that. But anyway.

We went to Seattle! It was awesome. We were able to stay at Becky's parents' home and visit them. It had been far too long since we've seen them and we loved every minute. Of course the highlight was Chloe. She got more attention showered on her that we can give her in twice the time and they were able to see the cutest baby ever. Everyone wins!

We were also able to stop by my friend Michael's for his reception. It was the first time Becky had met his husband Ryan and she decided that she's a fan. He is a cool guy. The reception was pretty fun, and had some fantastic food. And...that may be all I have to say about that. Wordsy today, I know.

So our friends Aleece and Damen are having a summer giveaway on their blog. You all should head over and comment!

(Becky's turn!)Because who can't use new excuses for a date night, huh!?

Things, like Jameson said, have been crazy. I've been meaning to post about Seattle, but I haven't gotten my camera hooked up for pictures to go with it... and Mom got most of the pictures on her camera. But it was a much needed vacation. It is also when Chloe started to sleep through the night. Seattle is magic. All the trees, thick air, green...family. Love it. We also got into baby food while there. Chloe's favorite is Sweet Potatoes.

We have put in an application for a new apartment. We're really hoping for this one. I would get to be an Assistant Manager on call only every other Saturday for a $100 discount on our rent. WOOT! We've made the decision that I will be quitting my job. Along with a huge sigh of relief comes sadness. I will miss it a lot. I made a lot of friends there.... other than about 3 friends, they are all there. It'll be hard to learn to go out of my way to find them now. Especially in an older area and with a baby. It isn't a skill I have yet. But, I'm sure it'll work out.

The only other things I have to say about summer is that I am LOVING my gym pass!!! and that Chloe is a rolling/crawling adorable terror.
